Looking to become an Oklahoma BPA member, but your school does not have an active chapter?

Join the Oklahoma Virtual Chapter!

Members of the Oklahoma Virtual Chapter must be students in a business related program of study. Eligible members must be a current student (if you are not a student, contact us about being part of an alumni chapter). Virtual members meet monthly (virtually), elect officers, and are required to pay state and national dues ($20 total). Virtual members are able to partake in all the opportunities that non-virtual members have, including Torch, BPA Cares, competitions, and are able to attend conferences in person.

Have questions? Contact Oklahoma BPA State Advisor, Mark Burch at mark.burch@careertech.ok.gov.

Affiliation Model

Available for each CareerTech funded K-12 program.

Each Mid-Level and Secondary BPA Chapter has the opportunity to spend up to $800 towards student membership dues annually with program incentive funds (412 monies).

  • For Mid-Level chapters this will cover your first 50 members
  • For Secondary chapters this will cover your first 40 members

All membership dues beyond 40 (Secondary) or 50 (Mid-Level) must be paid using local activity funds.

Advisor dues are separate from the affiliation fee. If there are multiple funded advisors at a school they may each use $400 from their program funds towards student membership dues.

All funded programs may utilize the affiliation fee, including both 50% and 100% funded programs.

If an advisor oversees both a middle level and a secondary chapter the $800 may be split to use $400 towards each chapter.

To utilize this opportunity simply add members to the membership site, select the affiliation option, and then work with your school finance office to send the payment to National BPA. An invoice will be generated after your members are fully submitted in the system.
