Virtual Conference Event Adjustments 

***NEW 2021 Oklahoma BPA Exception:  All videos MUST be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo***

To avoid access issues for our judges, all videos submitted to the Oklahoma 2021 State Leadership Conference should be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo prior to the link being submitted for judging. All videos should be set as “unlisted” so that only people with the link can view them.

The following adjustments have been made for the different competitive event elements:

Element Traditional Format Adjustment for 2020–2021
Testing Online exam with a proctor Online exam, advisor will oversee process, can test at home
“Live” Judged Events Prep for the scenario and present on–site Participants will be scheduled during the week of March 1st – March 5th to prep for the scenario and present to judges in a Webex virtual room. Limited number of contests with this option for 2021.
Prepared (Pre-submitted) Events Submitted online to be judged and narrowed down to finalists who present onsite Materials submitted during he submission window from February 19th – February 26th will be the only materials used to judge these events. All materials and recorded presentations should be submitted at the same time as all judging will take place at once, by remote judges. This is all prepared, pre-recorded. Students will NOT meet with a judge for these events.
Dell Sponsored Events Compete in hands-on competition onsite Specific details and window for competition coming soon. Events are still happening and are still sponsored by Dell.

Timeline for competition and submission for the different competitive event elements:

Testing January 26 – February 15, 2021 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Students must complete the exams during the testing window
“Live” Judged Events March 1 – March 5th, 2021 Schedules will be released after SLC registration closes.
Prepared Presentations  Presentations may be recorded any time prior to the Submission Window Video links/URL must be submitted by the chapter advisor who will upload them to the submission site. February 19th – February 26th.
