NLC Dress Code Reminder
As we get closer to May and the National Leadership Conference, now is a good time to start providing information and reminders to students about the NLC Dress Code. To promote a professional atmosphere, Business Professionals of America’s Board of Trustees has developed an official dress code policy for the BPA National Leadership Conference. Students, advisors, and chaperones must follow the dress code. We recommend that all guests follow the established dress code policy as well.
It is important to note that members not dressed in required attire will not be allowed to participate in any session or any competitive event. Also, members not adhering to the Professional Dress Code will not be allowed on stage. Please be sure to go over the NLC Dress Code with your students, advisors, and chaperones now and in the days leading up to packing for and arriving in Anaheim. It is never easy to have to turn a student away because they are not following the NLC Dress Code. We ask that you be proactive, share and discuss the dress code with all NLC attendees in advance of May 1 as we hope that everyone attending NLC has the opportunity to participate in all sessions and competitive events.
Please access information regarding the NLC Dress Code at the following link: https://bpa.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/9/2019/02/2019-Dress-Code.pdf. We invite you to provide printed copies to your students, advisors, and chaperones as part of your conference planning and preparation.
