Two years ago I made one of the best decisions of my life, and that was by joining my local BPA chapter at Meridian Technology Center, as well as running for chapter office. Friends of mine had joined BPA years before me, and I saw the great impact that it had on them, both in their skillset, and education.

I always wanted to be a part of something greater and to be able to serve the community. I knew that joining BPA would be the perfect opportunity to advance and perfect my skillset, and with a nudge from my adviser, I started on this amazing journey. When I joined this organization I was sure of my future career and what I wanted to do with my life, but my ideals and career goals changed completely. Throughout my time serving as Chapter Officer and State President, I´ve had the opportunity to network and meet so many amazing people. And all of these things have impacted my life tremendously.

I knew without a doubt that Business Professionals of America was the place for me. I will always be grateful for BPA, and the amazing opportunities that it has provided for me. I have learned so much, and I´ve learned to embrace my failures, and use them as a learning experience.
