pins

Kassidy is a junior at Sequoyah High School and attends Northeast Technology Center in Pryor, OK. She is studying in Graphic Design. She is very active at her home school playing on her high school volleyball team and trap shooting. She is also a member of National Honor Society. At Northeast Tech she is actively involved in BPA and NTHS. Kassidy joined BPA because of the opportunities and learning experience it would provide her.

Kassidy decided to be involved in the pin design contest because she wanted to challenge herself in the field of graphic design. This was an assignment her advisor, Jeff Faulconer, had given to the whole class.  Her inspiration came from the great culture of Oklahoma and from the 2020 National Leadership Conference theme, “Capitalize Your Future.”

When asked about her process for creating the pin, she said “I created multiple variations of my final pin design and through the evaluation from my instructor and classmates, I was able to finalize my design.”

Kassidy has an awesome support team behind her! Her classmates and teachers all supported her along the way.
