On November 17, 2022, Gavin Cooper and I both had the pleasure of visiting Cashion High School and meeting their chapter members and advisor. We were warmly welcomed by the Cashion staff and members of the officer team, and the Business Classroom was decorated with a Christmas theme. During our visit, we spoke about Torch Awards, BPA Cares chapter awards, competitions, service projects, the national Student Certification Series, running for state office, the Star Chapter Award, and the upcoming State Leadership Conference (SLC).

The chapter was getting ready to raise funds for the Oklahoma Special Olympics by donating $1 to wear their favorite pajamas for BPA Pajama Day. The Cashion High School BPA Chapter is a very active chapter with an experienced and inspirational Chapter Advisor–Mrs. Teresa Karnes was recognized last year at the 2022 BPA SLC as the Secondary Advisor of the Year. We would like to personally thank the Cashion High School BPA and their advisor, Mrs. Karnes, for inviting us to visit their chapter and wish them well in their BPA pursuits.
