Hello Oklahoma BPA! I hope you are all doing well. In this blog I would like to reflect a little bit on Fall Leadership Conference and what it did for me as an officer, and just a leader in general. As most of you know, Oklahoma BPA hosted our very first Virtual Fall Leadership Conference. I hope you were all able to attend, and took some things from it. I think being a part of hosing a virtual conference was definitely challenging to me as an officer. We all put hours of work into the conference, and it was such a new concept it was quite overwhelming at times. It was very rewarding to watch all of it come together for all of our members. If you were able to attend, I hope you enjoyed the day and learned more about using your voice and being a leader. All throughout the day, we had multiple breakout rooms to discuss the different voices. Whether you are a nurturer like me, a pioneer, a creative, a guardian, or a connector, you are just as important as the person next to you on your team. From a team point of view, you need a variety to make your team successful. I hope this years FLC helped you learn how to do your part on whatever team you are a part of!
