This year was different for Business Professionals of America. Mrs. Cavin was instrumental in helping officers and members figure out the best approach for each new situation. Thank you, Mrs. Cavin, for being the best advisor ever and for being there when we have questions, and for encouraging us to think for ourselves and make decisions. I know I have become a better leader by your example. We all appreciate your abundant energy!

I want to thank everyone at Canadian Valley Technology Center who helped me on my journey to become a state officer. There were so many people lifting me up and encouraging me from my classmates that listened to me practice my speech a million times and that helped me prepare to run for office, to all the administrators, teachers, and faculty who brainstormed a million ideas about how to run for office.

A special thank you to Mrs. Garner, I am so glad that we both got to learn and go on this journey together.

To the rest of the 2020-21 State Officer Team, thank you so much for a wonderful year. I’m so glad I got to work with such an amazing team. I am forever grateful for the experience and for the memories we made. You are all amazing and will go far.

To next year’s state officer team, I want to wish you the best of luck. I hope you all have an amazing year.
