Note·wor·thy: worthy of notice or attention; notable; remarkable
When deciding a title and theme it was important to our State officer team to keep it simple and impactful. We decided on “Noteworthy” because this word embodies everything we want to achieve at FLC.
At conference we will hear from spectacular keynote speakers, experience workshops presented by industry professionals, join in engaging community service opportunities and so much more. There will be officer workshops that go in depth on local officer roles and responsibilities, to ensure chapter officers understand their roles. October 18 will be an action packed day full of opportunities and learning!
We will kick off FLC with two sessions of educational workshops, followed by Juan Bendaña’s keynote. Juan is a renowned speaker, author, and DJ who is on a mission to help students live epic lives through making better decisions and discovering their leadership ability. Juan leads us into Officer Workshops, where your state officer team will host various epic workshops. Having seen a sneak peak of these workshops, I know every Oklahoma BPA member will learn something new. I am helping host the “highlights” workshop for presidents, I know it will help chapter presidents become the best version of themselves. After lunch we’ll have a variety of hands-on community service and leadership activities accessible on site. You can take part as an individual or with your chapter. These will assist you in gaining Torch points!
With all of this happening, this year’s Fall Leadership Conference is truly going to be noteworthy!
